Thread the extension through the drilled hole

Depending on where you decide to feed your tube through you should push the extension end through the hole you've drilled or the grill slot.

Note: the grill slot is not a recommended path as it brings the tube above the printhead and could cause ink to flow back into the parking pads causing it to soil the base of the printhead... ie: mess!

Note: The original join deliberately stays INSIDE the cover. This should stop the tube being disconnected from the pump even if the extension tube is pulled out due to rough use, accidents, etc... Re-connecting the tube is easier than reconnecting the main tube to the pump!

You should be able to quickly replace the printer side into position and clip it into place so it's all back together as normal. Just be careful to ensure the waste ink tube is not trapped or folded in the process.
