#1: CIS for Canon MP500 Author: egrobins, Posted: Fri May 04, 2007 9:02 pm — I recently found out about the CIS, and am trying to find out more about them. I saw some on E-bay, but was leary of the setup and ink that comes with them. I also did some seraching on google but am still con convinced. Anyone here used on one a Canon MP500 printer? Can you close the lid with it in? How well does it work? Are there certain brands to avoid or some better than other?

To date I've had 4 of the MP500 printers with 2 that worked and 2 that had some serious problems.. I am waiting to hear more from someone developing a new system but it's still ongoing.
