It's a bit of a nightmare to get the printhead to release on this printer because you can't actually see where the printhead is to know when to pull the power cord out... That said, a little experimentation and eventually you will get the printhead free of the rest/lock-down area.
Once you've achieved that, get a simple bit of wadded kitchen/paper towel, soaked in distilled water and place it over the resting pad area. Keep the pad small and not too thick and try to only cover the resting pad.
Then gently push the printhead back into position over the wad and leave to do it's thing for a couple of hours.
What this will do is allow the water in the pad to wick up into printhead nozzles and slowly (like allowing a baking dish) break down the clogged ink, back into solution.
After a couple of hours, move the printhead back to left, remove the wad of now, ink soaked towel, plug the printer back in and try running a nozzle check.
Chances are you won't get there first time but one thing to note, the PX710W is essentially a built in CIS system so if there's no ink getting from the cartridge to the printhead (ie: there's no ink visible in the tubing for the yellow) then you may have a completely different problem.
Hope that's of some help...
