#1: CANON PIXMA PRO9000 MKII Author: nelly4269, Posted: Thu Nov 10, 2011 2:38 pm Hi All
Ive just purchased a CANON PIXMA PRO9000 MKII printer and want to install a CISS system.
I've seen on some forums that they don't advise this on this particular model.
Has anyone got a CISS system on their CANON PIXMA PRO9000 MKII and have they experienced any problems etc??
Thanks in advance

Going to sound slightly ironic given that this is a CIS based forum but having experienced numerous problems with Canon printers when used with a CIS, I've found it smarter to steer well clear of any CIS system for the Canon printers.
Instead it seems far more cost effective in terms of time, reduced headaches, etc... to go with a refill kit and using the German/Durchstich refill method.
If you want more intel on the trials and tribulations on Canon and CIS then the nifty-stuff.com forums is a good point of reference and in fact it's a good reference point for anything Canon so well worth the visit.
Hope that helps even if it does head off in a direction you weren't expecting.
