Just as a note really but I thought I'd share...

I've been speaking to a CIS retailer in Holland who resells for Image Specialists and apparently the new Epson 7400 wide format printers have a new closed loop system that causes all manner of problems for anyone considering a CIS solution let alone refilling..

The system actually pumps air into the cartridge rather than drawing air in through a small hole in the surface and thus causes a number of technical challenges.

For all that though, I expect to see some general info for you to check out in the near future so if you're considering this printer (which is unlikely unless you're a business and/or seriously rich) there's a CIS solution soon to be available.


Note: I'm also informed that the RX700 may also use this system but I have yet to confirm...
